The brief
Galaxy Lighting sells lighting to trade and retail customers across New Zealand, in English and Chinese. A big range, two very different kinds of buyer, and a site that had to work for an electrician on a phone as well as a homeowner on a couch.
So the structure comes first: find the right light fast, see the real stock, and if you are a trade account, see your own price without picking up the phone. Have a look at the live site.
What we did
- A store built around how people look for a light: by room, by style, by fitting, in three taps
- Product pages written properly: dimensions, specs, what it suits
- Stock and orders connected to accounting so nothing is re-keyed
- Promotions, new ranges and banners the store team runs themselves
- A trade portal where account customers log in and see their own prices, without ringing sales
We publish what we built, not invented numbers. Where a client is happy to share results, they appear here with their name on them.
