Questions we get asked
Our discount rules are unusual. Can you build them?
Usually, yes. Bring the spreadsheet, or the way your sales team explains it. If a rule can be written down, it can be built, and we will say plainly if something is not worth what it costs.
Do we have to change platforms?
No. We start from what you have: Shopify, WooCommerce, a custom site, your POS. If moving would genuinely save you money we will say so, but it is your call.
How do the points work?
However you want: per dollar, per product, double points on a range, a bonus for trade accounts that hit a monthly target. Points show in the customer's account and come off at checkout.
Can retail customers see trade prices?
No. Trade prices only show after an approved trade account logs in. Everyone else sees retail.
Will it work with our accounting and stock system?
Usually. Xero, MYOB, Odoo and most POS systems can be connected. We check what yours can do before we quote.
Do we need Shopify Plus?
Not necessarily. Shopify's own wholesale features come with Plus. For many smaller businesses, the right build on a standard plan does the job for much less.
