FAQ

The questions we actually get.

If yours is not here, email us and we will answer it plainly.

Do you publish prices?

Not on the website, because every project we have done has been a different shape and a page of numbers would mislead you. You get a specific price at the Scope stage, before any build work starts.

How long does a website take?

It depends on how much of the content already exists and how many decisions are still open. We give you a date at the Scope stage rather than a guess now.

Do you work outside Auckland?

Yes, all of New Zealand, and we have clients whose customers are overseas. Most of the work happens over calls and shared documents anyway.

Can we start with something small?

Yes, and often that is the right answer. One stage, one outcome, then decide.

Who owns the work?

You do. Code, domain, hosting, ad accounts, analytics, all in your name from day one.

Do you take a percentage of ad spend?

We are explicit about how we charge before you commit to anything. What we will not do is quietly benefit from you spending more than you should.

What if we already have a website?

We will look at it and say plainly whether fixing it costs less than replacing it. Sometimes the honest answer is that it is fine and the problem is elsewhere.

Do you really write the Chinese separately?

Yes. Same offer, different sentences, written for someone who thinks in Chinese. A translate widget is not a Chinese page.

What happens if we want to leave?

Everything is already in your name, so you take it and go. We will help with the handover rather than make it difficult.

Tell us what is not working.

A 30-minute call, then a one-page diagnosis in writing within two working days: what we would do first, and whether you need us at all.
